Attend a First Step Session

Even if you have some ideas about where, when and what you would like to study abroad, we strongly encourage you to meet with the peer advisors in the Study Abroad Office for a short introduction to the steps you need to take to study abroad for a semester, full year or J-Term.

All sessions start at 12:15 PM in the Study Abroad Resource Room (Murray Herrick 212) and last approximately 45 minutes.

Fall Semester 2015 First Step Sessions

For Semester, Year and Summer Programs:
  • September 16
  • September 24
  • September 29
  • October 8
  • October 14
  • October 21
  • November 10
  • November 19
  • December 1
  • December 10
For January-Term 2016 First Step Sessions:
First Step Sessions are not required for J-Term programs. These are optional sessions covering general information about types of programs and process questions.  If you would like to apply for a co-sponsored January Term program, you are required to attend an Advising Session prior to applying.

If you can not attend a First Step Session, you can schedule an individual appointment with a Peer Advisor. An online version of the First Step Session will be available shortly.
